A superb new blue tomato from our breeding programs with streaks of the deepest indigo drifting over the brilliant pink skin. These are about 2 ounces and borne in profusion. It adds gorgeous color and zesty flavor to a salad.

Very rare, selected starting from the OSU P20 (Oregon State University). Extremely powerful indeterminate plants. Prolonged plum type with a nipple on its apical end. Juicy, firm and meaty. Good taste.

“Great White Blue” is a segregate of a cross of Great White x OSU P20 made by Stéphane Marier, Canadian breeder from Quebec. The sizes and shapes also vary somewhat, even within the supposed same segregate from more oblate beefsteaks to more globe-shaped.

“Cherriots of Fire” is probably the most beautiful cherry you have ever grown, as slightly flattened buttons with stripes evident at first, then blending in somewhat with the deepening color. The whole little fruit takes on a pearly sheen.

This is an heirloom from Carol Chyko’s family in Hazleton, PA. The seeds were first introduced by Bill Ellis in 1988. The plants produce plenty of blocky red hearts in the 10-16 oz. range.
