Early ripening variety, 45 days, large rosette, spreading, leaves are ovoid, light green, with a slightly wavy edge, 15 cm long, 7 cm wide.

Mid-early variety (90-110 days). Smooth, cylindrical shaped root, weight 200-300 g (7-11 oz.). Intense red, juicy and tender flesh without rings. Use fresh and for long term winter storage. Rival is a true gardeners favourite.

An attractive medium-hot pepper from the Ukraine. The plants grow to 24 inches tall and produce heavy crops of long thin peppers up to 8 inches in length which resemble tongues of fire. Excellent for use in salsas.

An early ripe variety, 85-100 days, recommended for obtaining early bunched products, bunched ripeness occurs 45-50 days after germination, the root crop is cut-conical in shape.

Cap 2-10 cm, flat, color yellow, honey-brown, orange-brown, the edges of the cap are usually lighter than the middle, the flesh is thin, from white to light yellow, with a pleasant taste, stem 2-7 cm × 0.3-1 cm, tubular, dense.

Late ripening variety. The growing season from germination to harvest is 140-190 days. Produces long, flat, green leaves and a thickened stem with a faint bulb. The stem is large, 20-30 cm long, 5-7 cm in diameter, weighing 300-400 g, white in color

Fruit can be eaten fresh or cooked and made into jams, tarts or puddings. Prefers a fertile, well drained moisture retentive soil but is not fussy whether conditions are acid or alkaline. Best in full sun or light shade but can tolerate semi-shade.
